Chronicon Lethrense

Beginning of the Chronicon Lethrense, 5r, from Codex Arnamagnæanus AM 841 4° (Kroman, 1965).

Transmission:
The Chronicon Lethrense, which was appended to the Annales Lundenses, is found in three manuscripts, AM 843, 4° (c. 1300), AM 841 4° (c. 1400), and CE 8o 23 (late 13. cent.), available in facsimile in Erik Kroman (ed.), Corpus codicum danicorum medii aevi. v.5 (Hafniae, E. Munksgaard, 1965). There is a transctiption in Scriptores minores historiæ Danicæ medii ævi ex codicibus denuo recensuit vol. 1, edited by Martin Clarentius Gertz, 43-53. København, I. Kommission hos G. E. C. Gad, 1917.
Gertz shows that the text borrows from Chronicon Roskildense, dating the CL to ca. 1170.
